As the sun rose on Sunday, May 12th, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, arrived in Lagos, Nigeria, for the final leg of their captivating tour.

The couple was greeted with a warm welcome, as a lively cultural troupe performed a mesmerizing dance routine to celebrate their presence.

Meghan, 42, looked radiant in a white button-down shirt, which she elegantly paired with a traditional “aso oke” wrapper. This vibrant fabric, a symbol of Nigerian heritage, was gifted to the couple by Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), during a previous event in Abuja.

After touching down at Lagos airport, the royal duo wasted no time in immersing themselves in the local community. They headed straight to a school, where they participated in an exciting basketball clinic organized by the non-profit organization “Giants of Africa.”
