 Shocking Allegations: Actor Accused of Abducting and Defiling 14-Year-Old Girl


In a disturbing turn of events, the Ogun State Police Command has arrested a 30-year-old actor, Praise, for the alleged abduction and defilement of a 14-year-old girl.

 




Grandparents Report Horrific Incident


According to the police statement, the arrest came after the girl's grandparents reported her disappearance on May 1st, 2024. The grandparents claimed that their granddaughter had been missing since April 27th. 



The statement further revealed that the grandparents alleged the suspect of "having unlawful carnal knowledge" of their granddaughter, who was found "bleeding profusely" upon being located. 


 Medical Examination and Investigation Underway


The police have issued medical forms for the victim to undergo examination and treatment at a government hospital, in order to gather "more credible evidence" for the case.

A preliminary investigation has commenced at the Mowe Divisional Headquarters, and the case will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for a "discreet investigation." 


 Zero Tolerance for Child Abuse





The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Omolola Odutola, emphasized that "No child in Ogun State should be subjected to such inhumane treatment, sexual assault, and sexual abuse." 


This incident comes on the heels of a similar case reported in February, where a man named "Bro. Joe" was arrested for abducting and defiling a 12-year-old girl in Rivers State.
